Elder Scrolls Online Patch Download Time
Following some server downtime earlier today, update 1.11 is now live for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited on PlayStation 4. Just an incremental patch (no download size given), 1.11. Download the Patch Manifest File. Close the ESO Launcher. Download this file using your web browser. Move the file to the ProgramData folder of the launcher directory. By default, this folder will be located here: C: Program Files (x86) Zenimax Online Launcher ProgramData. Re-open the ESO Launcher and try again. The Elder Scrolls Online. Brother, I am excited and yet I am hurt by the time of downloads. I kind of missed the old 'in a cd case' when you purchase games. Obviously later patches will have to be downloaded and installed as necessary, but downloading massive patches immediately after downloading the game is barmy!
I want to start off by saying I only played an hour of this game before realizing it was not what I was hoping for. Not saying its a bad game, just not what I was looking for.
Game Patch Download
Problem is, the patch download took such a long time, that it exceeded the refund limit by a huge margin. I contacted support explaining that I did not actually play the game for more than an hour, but that it was infact an issue with steam registering the game being 'played' during the long install process.
Instead of getting a response from a support specialist, I got a copy and paste instant reply:
We are unable to refund this purchase to your Steam Wallet at this time. Your playtime of an included product exceeds 2 hours (our refund policy maximum).

My ticket was immediately closed with no option to reopen and no option to further contact them on the matter.
How is this fair?
@Edit: After reading some advice from users, I am going to keep resubmitting my refund request until I get in touch with an actual human.
@Edit2: I have resubmitted my ticket 7 times now, only to receive the exact same message minutes within submitting the ticket, as if its not even going to a real person, but just instantly being denied by a bot.
@Edit3: My refund request has been granted thanks to some great people on Steams support team taking the time to look directly into my request!
