Fallout New Vegas Latest Patch Download

The New Vegas Script Extender, or NVSE for short, is a modder's resource that expands the scripting capabilities of Fallout: NV. It does so without modifying the executable files on disk, so there are no permanent side effects. For Fallout: New Vegas on the PC, a GameFAQs message board topic titled 'Anywhere to manually download the patch?' Unofficial Patch Plus, UP+ or UPP for short, is the premier compilation of supplementary bug-fixes for Fallout: New Vegas, which are not included in Yukichigai Unofficial Patch for one reason or another. Mostly this is because the fixes require NVSE, and YUP follows a philosophy that it should only require the official game and nothing else.

    • Removed launcher damage fix, as JIP LN NVSE new includes this fix (ensure it is enabled in that mod's ini).
    • Removed the option to enable FO3-style repair, as it can now easily be toggled using JIP's ini.
    • Fixed the 'Anywhere' option for the Transportalponder.
    • Fixed that annoying flickering in the MCM when selecting the Transportalponder mode.

    • Re-added 'Alt-trigger' weapons to the explosion damage fix. This will only apply to mod-added weapons where the modder has added damage to the weapon instead of the explosion—all vanilla thrown weapons have no (1) impact damage.

    • The launcher damage fix now checks that the 'Explosion' flag is set AND that an explosion is assigned to a projectile, as the field can still be filled even though the flag is not set.

    • Added an option to implement FO3's repair system (thanks to JIP LN), so that the maximum possible condition when repairing items is dependent on your repair skill.
    • Added the 'Glasses' slot to the Goggles Helmet, so that you can't equip glasses with it and get the Four Eyes bonus twice. Thanks to the (slightly irate) commenter who pointed out this VANILLA issue to me.
    • Removed changes to headgear item names. These changes were originally carried forward from YUP, but it seems like they've been silently removed...

    • Added a scripted and expanded version of Ammo Fixes' launcher damage 'fix', along with an option to tweak or disable it if you wish.
    • Fixed the Companion Su- oh wait, it was (and is) working fine...
  • Version 1.1

    • Removed Ammo Fixes due to some controversial changes it makes, but retained an improved version of its high explosive ammo tweak.
    • Added a fix by Ladez, so that a merchant's name is displayed in their inventory filter, instead of a blank space.
    • The new script for the Weathered 10mm Pistol will now override WMX's, as YUP's fixed version of the pistol is preferable.
