2- Please run “muv-luv_alternative.bat” to add some registry & fix the directory to run the game.
3- After that, start “SmartSteamEmu.exe”.
To uninstall, just run “muv-luv_alternative_unreg.bat” and delete the folder.
Suggested Play Order:
- First, what you absolutely must play before moving on to Muv-Luv Alternative.
- Highly recommend playing only the Sumika and Meiya routes of Extra, and Meiya's ending in Unlimited.
- The side routes in Extra are painfully bad. You have been warned.
- The Unlimited endings are basically all identical so there's no real point in playing more than one. However, the short joke ends in both games (MLE Normal Ends, MLE Marimo End and MLU Yuuko End) are probably worth seeing.

- Muv-Luv Alternative (MLA): One of the best visual novels ever, according to pretty much everyone. Teenage girls pilot mechas to kill off the aliens trying to wipe out humanity. Multiverses, international political intrigue and assorted forms of sci-fi contribute to the kudzu-like plot. But you need to read ML first to get the full experience.

Muv-Luv is a Japanese visual novel developed by âge and originally released as an adult game for the PC on February 28, 2003. Consisting of two parts, Muv-Luv Extra and Muv-Luv Unlimited, the gameplay in Muv-Luv follows a linear plot line, which offers pre-determined scenarios and courses of interaction, and focuses on the differing scenarios of the female main characters. Muv-Luv was followed by a sequel, Muv-Luv Alternative, which was released for the PC on April 24, 2006 and follows the storyline of Muv-Luv Unlimited.
About The Game
Mu-Luv is separated into two chapters: Muv-Luv Extra and Muv-Luv Unlimited. The game begins with Extra with Unlimited being unlocked after the player completes the two main routes in Extra.
Muv-Luv Extra
Muv-Luv Extra takes place in modern-day Japan. The player navigates the game through the eyes of Takeru Shirogane. A third-year student in Hakuryou High School. Lazy, carefree, loves video games.

Muv-Luv Unlimited
Muv-Luv Unlimited begins with the player waking up in an alternate timeline where extraterrestrials called BETA invaded the earth in the 70s. Instead of being executed as a suspected spy, Shirogane is given a second chance by this world’s version of his previous instructor, Yuuko Kouzuki, and placed in 207th Training Unit with the alternate-world version of his previous classmates.
Mech combat ensues; uglies bumped.

Muv Luv Setup instructions:
It’s necessary to change your system locale to Japanese. (This will not affect most programs, only non-unicode installations such as this one.)
Go to Control Panel, Region and Language, and under the Administrative tab, Change System Locale. Choose Japanese(Japan) and click Apply.
Restart your computer.
Locate the folder where you downloaded the torrent and right-click MuvLuv.part1, then Extract Files, and Ok. This will automatically extract parts 1-5.
Open up Daemon Tools Lite and click Add Image, then find the folder you just extracted to. Select MUVLUV_EXTRA.ccd. Right click on the image that appears in the top part of the window under Image Catalog, then select the F Drive.
The AutoPlay window will open, click Run SETUP.EXE
Choose Install, then the option on the left, then Next four more times.
The game is now installed. Now comes the English patch.
Click the application that came with the torrent called ml-r7.
Click Next, Next, then Install.
Congratulations! Muv Luv is fully installed.
