Neverwinter Nights - game update v.1.69 ENG FULL - Download Game update (patch) to Neverwinter Nights, a(n) rpg game, v.1.69 ENG FULL, added on Monday, July 21, 2008. File type Game update. Myst V was unexpected but i def will have to download it 😉 never played the full one guess i have a reason to now! Is it more like tinkering with.ini files.

By the way, I try playing in compatibility mode with Windows XP but doesn't work either

Thanks for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

This issue might occurs, if the game is not installed properly.

I suggest you to Uninstall the game and install it again and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps to install the game.

1) Press Windows key + x and select Program and features.

2) Right click on the Myst V, End of Agesand click on Uninstall.

Download the game from the manufacturer's website and install it again.

Hi,

I've done that already... Doesn't work.
I've been downloading them from the originals CDs, that have worked before in older versions (I think it was XP, if I remember correctly).

have experienced the same issue that Anita is referring. The program indicates that the system is incompatible because it wants to use DirectX 9.0c and Windows 10 is using version Direct X 12. Is there a way to get around this?

I have experienced the same problem. My comment was: 'have experienced the same issue that Anita is referring. The program indicates that the system is incompatible because it wants to use DirectX 9.0c and Windows 10 is using version Direct X 12. Is there a way to get around this?'

Let me help you to fix the issue.

To understand the issue better, I would like to know which program do you refer to?

Let’s try simple steps and check if this helps. I would suggest you to install the program in compatibility mode and check.

Right-click on the setup file and select Properties.
Select Compatibility tab.
Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.
Let the program install and then check the functionality.

I don't know if this helps but search out the fix for your stack error and you will be able to download a fix for the problem. It's a zip file with a replacement for the Myst folder in your user/app/local folder. You may have to unhide the zip file has instructions
